Can you lose your license for speeding?

Can your license be revoked if you’re caught speeding too many times? I’ve gotten a few speeding tickets in Mississippi and I’m a little nervous that I could get into more trouble if I get more.

, as in many other US states, you can lose your license if you’re charged with too many moving violations, including excessive speeding. While no exact number is listed in the law, you’ll typically need to receive more than 5 to 10 speeding tickets within a six-month period to reach this point.
You can also lose your license for reckless driving in Mississippi. In this state, speeding faster than 19 mph over the speed limit OR going faster than 80 mph is considered reckless driving. While it’s unlikely that your license will be revoked on your first charge, it’s increasingly likely with each charge that you’ll lose your license.
