Q5 battery location is in the trunk, beneath the floor lining.Unlike most passenger cars, the battery for your Audi is not located in the engine bay under the hood. Instead, you will need to go to a hidden location in the back of the vehicle.
Start by opening the trunk and lifting the floor lining. Beneath, you will see the spare tire. If you need to access the battery, the spare tire must be removed.
If you want to give a stranded driver a
jumpstart
, it gets a little more complicated. The jumpstart points are under the hood! But if you ever need to swap out your battery, you’ll need to clear out your trunk first.While you’re being a responsible driver, now might be a good time to check your
