Can you get a reckless driving charge expunged?

Reckless driving is the only thing on my criminal record right now, and I don’t want it to hurt my job prospects. I live in California, but I’m not sure if state laws make a difference. How do you get a reckless driving charge off your record?

You can get a reckless driving charge expunged in California.
To get a reckless driving charge off your record, you will first need to complete your probation and/or jail sentence. Then, you can apply for expungement with the help of a lawyer. It should be noted, however, that if your license was suspended or revoked, expunging your record won’t overturn that ruling.
If you were convicted of dry reckless driving, or reckless driving without the consumption of alcohol, you can expect the conviction to remain
on your record
for 13 years unless it is expunged prior to that date.
