Can you flat tow a Hyundai Santa Cruz?

My brother bought my Hyundai Santa Cruz from me, but he lives a few states over. I was going to tow it behind my heavy-duty truck, but I want to make sure I don’t damage the Santa Cruz. Is it possible to flat tow a Santa Cruz?

No—you cannot flat tow a Hyundai Santa Cruz of any model year, trim, or drivetrain. The platform of the Hyundai Santa Cruz—including the drivetrain and transmission—can be severely damaged if you attempt to flat tow the vehicle.
If you have the front-wheel-drive Santa Cruz, you can use a two-wheel dolly, provided that the front wheels are off the ground. For the all-wheel-drive Santa Cruz, only flatbed trailering is possible. (This also works for the front-wheel-drive version.) Consult pages 8 to 24 of your owner’s manual (2022) to find out more about proper trailering.
Although you’re getting rid of your Hyundai Santa Cruz, you can pass on some of your brotherly knowledge when it comes to car insurance. When you drop off the truck at your brother’s house, help him lower his
