Can you flat tow a 2021 GMC Terrain?

I’m the proud new owner of a 2021 GMC Terrain. However, I have one issue that I didn’t think about until now. Is it possible to flat tow the 2021 Terrain behind my RV or do I have to tow it a different way?

No—you can’t flat tow a 2021 GMC Terrain unless it’s an emergency and you plan on traveling less than 30 miles. Flat towing the 2021 Terrain can seriously **damage the transmission, void the warranty, and leave you unable to
file a claim with your car insurance
.
However, you have alternative options. GMC recommends that you use a flatbed trailer to tow the Terrain, but you can also use a two-wheel dolly, just so long as you don’t go over 65 mph. Face the Terrain forward when towing on a two-wheel dolly and follow the instructions listed on pages 321 and 322 of your owner’s manual.
While you probably already have insurance for your new car, it never hurts to check again for a better rate to lower your
