Can you drive with a loose exhaust?
I drove over a curb in a parking lot this morning and the exhaust pipes are hanging loose under the car. Can I drive home with a loose exhaust?

Hitting a curb has happened to every driver at some point. Physically, yes, your car will still run and you can drive it with a loose or dangling exhaust pipe. But is it a good idea? No.
If your exhaust is just loose and you live very close, you can drive the car home, but do not drive it again until it’s repaired. The exhaust pipe is responsible to move toxic gasses away from the engine. If it is damaged, the toxins can enter your car while driving.
