Can you drive a salvage title car in Georgia?
My car was in a wreck last year and I’ve been slowly fixing it up. It’s running well and I’m ready to get it back on the road. Can you drive a salvage title car in Georgia?

You cannot drive a salvage title car in Georgia; you’ll need a rebuilt title.
Salvage title cars are not legal for road use, and they cannot be insured. Once you have performed the required repair work, you must apply for a rebuilt title. Only then will you be able to drive this vehicle on public roads.
When you’re ready to insure a car with a salvage title, make sure you compare quotes to get the best possible price for car insurance. Car insurance for a salvaged car with a rebuilt title can be difficult to obtain, but you need it to legally drive in Georgia.
