Can you drive a salvage title car in Colorado?
I just moved to Colorado and need a car. My buddy offered to loan me his uncle’s old one, but it’s got a salvage title on it. Can you drive a salvage title car in Colorado?

No, you cannot drive a salvage title car in Colorado. Although that’s a generous offer from your friend, vehicles with salvage titles on them cannot be registered in the state of Colorado, and unregistered vehicles cannot be legally driven.
If your friend really wants you to take his uncle’s old car off his hands, you could consider applying for a rebuilt title. With the right forms, restorations, and paperwork, you could get that car ready to drive again.
