Can you drink O’Douls while driving?

I’m not a big drinker, but I love the taste of O’Douls and find myself drinking it almost like a soft drink. Since it’s non-alcoholic it’s legal for me to drink it while I’m driving, right?

Non-alcoholic (N/A) beers can be surprisingly tasty, and since your “near-beer” contains less alcohol than your average kombucha, you can drink O’Douls while driving.
In most states, drinking any beverage with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of .5% or more is illegal and can result in an open container charge, or worse. N/A beers are required to contain less than that to be classified as non-alcoholic, so you’re safe no matter what brand you choose.
Your O’Douls is technically legal to drink, but if an officer sees you, they might still pull you over on suspicion of driving under the influence. If you want to save yourself some explanations, you might consider just sticking with those soft drinks while you’re in the car. While you’re at it, why don’t also save yourself some money on
