It’s always frustrating to realize that you’ve left money laying around. Luckily, if the check is not too badly damaged and can be pieced back together, you should be able to successfully deposit it through your bank’s mobile deposit system.
You’ll want to lay the check pieces down on a flat surface and properly align them. Do not use glue or tape to stick the pieces together as it could interfere with the camera’s ability to scan the check.
