Can the AAA technician diagnose problems?
Does the AAA technician also diagnose automotive problems? I'm thinking about getting a AAA membership. I know they do towing and flat tire changes, but I wanted to know if they can fix your car, too.

AAA
tow truck driver/technician isn’t a qualified mechanic, so he or she likely won’t be able to diagnose major mechanical issues. However, many of them have been around the block to know basic problems.
They can likely tell you what’s wrong if you have basic car issues, like:
- a dead battery
- a problem with your starter
- a flat tire
But if you have a broken radiator or a busted transmission, they probably can’t tell you much. That’s why you should take your car to a mechanic that you trust.”
