Can someone else ride with me while driving for Uber?

I’m trying to optimize my schedule around picking up my kid from school and working my day job as a rideshare driver. Can someone ride with me while I drive for Uber?

There never seems to be enough hours in the day! Unfortunately, a passenger can not ride with you while driving for Uber. Here is what the Uber Community Guidelines state:
“No one other than the requesting rider and the rider’s guests are permitted in the vehicle. This means that friends and family of drivers may not ride in their vehicle during a trip.”
