The blue tarps are waterproof and mildew resistant, which is great, but tarps protect flat roofs, not curvy cars. Here are some of the problems you will have with the roofing tarp:
- Wind will blow dust and debris between the tarp and the car, which will create scratches
- Moisture will get under the tarp and since the material isn’t breathable, you will get mildew and mold
- Aesthetically, they aren’t the most pleasing thing to look at
