Can I put my Ford Ranger on 22s without modifying it?

I’m considering putting my Ford Ranger on larger tires, possibly 22s. Am I going to be able to go that big without doing any serious modifications? I wouldn’t want my tires to rub.

Good question! The answer is yes, you can put your
Ford Ranger
on 22-inch tires without needing to modify it—although you’re bound to lose some power if you do.
A factory-stock
Ford
Ranger can accommodate tires up to 31.6 inches without needing to be lifted or modified. When shopping for wheels, you’ll probably need a 5x4.5 bolt pattern for your Ranger. Depending on the wheels you get, you should expect to pay $200-$600 per wheel.
While you’re working on your truck, take a few minutes to review your car insurance. It’s important to review your coverage at least once a year to avoid overpaying.
