Can I put my 2-door Chevy Tahoe on 30s?
I’m looking to scale up the profile on my 2-door Tahoe’s wheels. Found some 30s that I think would look awesome, but I don’t know if they’ll fit. Could I put my 2-door Tahoe on 30-inch wheels?

Good question! Increasing your car’s wheel size is risky, and it can often end badly—especially if you don’t do a bit of research first. As for whether or not you can put your 2-door Chevy Tahoe on 30s, the answer is a definite no. You shouldn’t put your Tahoe on anything beyond 22-inch wheels.
The 2-door Tahoe is compatible with 18”, 19”, 20”, 21”, and 22” tires. You may have seen Tahoe owners use 24” or larger, but this is not advisable!
While tires as large as 31 inches will technically fit on a Tahoe, going bigger than 22 inches will result in decreased handling, greatly reduced turn radius, tire rubbing, malfunctioning speedometer, and a dozen other performance issues.
If you are determined to set your 2-door
Chevy
Tahoe in larger wheels, you’ll need to lift the car considerably (at least four inches) to make it work. If you decide to lift your Tahoe, you should know that doing so will most likely void any warranties and raise your
