Can I practice driving without a permit?
My dad wants to take me out to practice driving now that I’m 15. But my mom says I can’t until I get my permit, and I could get in huge trouble if I’m caught. I’m already old enough to get a permit, so can I just practice driving without one, if I have my dad in the car?

No point in dragging this out. The answer is no. You must have a permit in order to practice driving, even with a parent or licensed driver in the car.
