’m looking into buying a used MINI Cooper from 2020, and I’m getting excited to get behind the wheel! Before I do, I want to know if I can connect to Bluetooth and play my favorite music. Can I play music with Bluetooth in a MINI Cooper?

Congratulations on (almost) joining the MINI Cooper clan! The good news is you can play music through Bluetooth using MINI Connect, a convenient center touchscreen in your MINI Cooper.
With the handy MINI touchscreen system, you can connect your smartphone in just a few minutes. Here’s what to do once you’re an official Cooper owner:
- Select “Setup” from the “Home” menu
- Choose “Settings”
- Press “Bluetooth”
- Select “Phone”
- Press “Pair new phone” followed by “Start Pairing”
Ensure your smartphone’s Bluetooth is enabled before you start the process, and you’ll be able to select your 2020 MINI from the menu on your phone. Even though this model is from a few years ago, you luckily won’t have to
add a Bluetooth adapter
