Can I permanently get rid of a car loan?

My car has been nothing but trouble since I bought it, even though it's still under warranty. Can I get rid of the car loan and return the car? What are my options?

Unfortunately, you can’t simply get rid of a car loan. Refusing to pay after you signed a legal contract can have dire consequences for your credit score and put you at risk of repossession. The only way to get rid of a
car loan
is to pay it off (or sell the car to someone else who will).
However, since your car is still under warranty and you’ve had tremendous problems with it, you may want to take a look at your state’s
lemon laws
. If your car has consistent problems while under warranty, you may be entitled to a full refund under the law.
That said, you’d have to give the dealer ample opportunity to fix the car’s issues before you can bring the lemon law into play. If the dealer is unwilling to work with you, you may want to hire an attorney that specializes in these issues.
If you manage to get the car fixed permanently, make sure you keep it protected with the right car insurance policy. Use
