Can I pay my USAA car insurance monthly instead of semi-annually?

Can I pay in monthly installments for the foreseeable future? I used to pay for my six-month car insurance premium all at once, but I was laid off.

USAA will let you pay monthly if that’s what you need or want to do.
Keep in mind that your car insurance will be a bit higher because you’re not paying for a six-month policy all at once. Expect to lose a discount of maybe three to five percent.”
