Can I not pay for car insurance?

I’m starting to look into getting my first car. However, I know car insurance is super expensive, and I’m on a pretty tight budget as it is—I really don't want to pay for it. Can I get out of paying for car insurance?

Fair question! Unfortunately, driving without car insurance is illegal in 48 out of the 50 United States. However, there are some great tips like limiting your yearly mileage that can save you extra on your insurance rates.
Other tips for paying less on
car insurance
are:
  • Pay annually for the policy
  • Bundle multiple vehicles on the same policy
  • Increase your voluntary excess
Although you can’t drive without insurance, shopping around and comparing multiple auto insurance policies is also a fantastic way to save on your car insurance.
