"I have not worked for some time now, but I need a new car. I have an excellent credit score but lack income, and my husband makes plenty of money but he has a horrible credit score. Is it possible for me to get an auto loan?

“With an excellent credit score, you will likely not be asked to verify your income. So if you simply put your household’s income down on the application, you will likely get approved for a car loan.
However, since every lender is different, the only way to know for sure is to apply. Good luck. “
