Can I get a car title loan online?

One of my friends said that title loan shops in our area are all closing up. I've used them before when things have been rough, and I like knowing I have the option. I know some things have moved online. Can I get a car title loan online?

Title loans are illegal in more than half of the 50 states due to their high interest rates and short term lengths. So you may want to check to see if laws in your state have changed—that might be why the title loan lenders are closing up shop where you live.
If they are legal in your state, you may be able to get a
title
loan online.
It would be best if you first research the lenders that you find in your area. Some great places to start are:
  • Your state’s attorney general
  • The Better Business Bureau
  • Your state’s financial regulations office
Lenders found in multiple states that offer online services include:
  • Max Cash Title Loans
  • American Auto Title Loan
  • Title Max
  • Loan Mart
  • Loan Center (you’ll also have to call)
To help you save money where you can, you should ensure you’re getting the best price on your current car insurance policy. You can check quickly and easily for free with the
