“Since you were the only vehicle involved in the accident, you would need to have
collision car insurance
on your policy. Collision insurance will cover any damage done to your vehicle if you hit another vehicle or object.If you have collision insurance, you’ll want to call your insurance company. You’ll need to get an estimate of the cost of repairs as well. You are still responsible for your deductible when submitting a collision claim, so you’ll want to compare that with the cost of repairs.
If you don’t have collision insurance or the cost of repairs is under your deductible, you’ll need to pay out of pocket for the damages.”
