Can I cancel my Nissan extended warranty?

I purchased a Nissan extended warranty on my 2017 Maxima but I’ve been reviewing my budget and I realize I simply can’t afford it right now. I purchased the plan three weeks ago. Can I cancel it?

If you cancel your extended warranty plan—known as a Security+Plus extended protection plan, in Nissan speak—your refund will be calculated based on the elapsed time the extended warranty covered, or the amount of mileage, whichever is greater.
