Can I cancel my car’s extended warranty if their tow truck never shows up?

"If a tow truck doesn't show, is this grounds for me to cancel the warranty? I needed a tow because my car broke down, so I called the warranty company for the extended warranty. They said they would send a tow truck, but it never came so I had to use my other roadside service plan instead."

“This would depend on the language and terms of your warranty contract.
It is possible that the tow provider that they contract with was delayed or had the incorrect location information. If the provider canceled the tow or refused to provide service, you may cancel, but it is unlikely that you would be reimbursed.
You should contact the warranty company to determine what happened with the tow and why it was not provided.
It may be worth looking into additional roadside assistance, such as
AAA
, for more coverage.”
