Can I call the police in Florida to unlock my car?

I'm stuck in a parking lot and I don't have AAA. Will law enforcement help?

The police in
Florida
or any other state don’t have an obligation to help you with your locked vehicle. If you did call the precinct or stopped an officer, you aren’t likely to get help.
Instead, you might consider calling a local locksmith.
Keep in mind: You can also find out if your
car insurance
policy includes roadside assistance. Locksmith service is a common benefit in many roadside assistance memberships.
