My oil levels are looking a little low, but it's too soon for a full oil change. Can I add oil to my car without changing it?

You can add oil to your car without changing it if you’re still keeping up with your regular oil changes.
Adding oil to keep your oil at the right levels is a smart practice that will not negatively impact your engine. Make sure you’re using the type of oil recommended in your owner’s manual and still change your oil at the recommended interval.
Adding oil is not a replacement for your oil changes. Conventional oil needs to be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, while synthetic oil should be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles.
