Can I add a 5th car to my insurance policy?
I have four cars now and am wondering how much it will cost to add another. I am the only driver on the policy, and I hope having so many cars won't be an issue.

“Many insurance companies can write policies for five or more cars. Since you are only one driver with so many vehicles, you may have to answer some questions about the use of your cars.
Usage can be a strong rating factor for a
car insurance
policy. While many types of uses are covered, some are not. Here is a list of standard vehicle uses categories:- Pleasure
- Work/Commute
- Farming
- Business
Having one driver with three or more cars is a red flag to insurers for delivery and business uses. These usage types are either not covered or need a special endorsement.
If the cars are used for taxi-type services or other excluded uses, the insurance provider may cancel the policy.
Several new, high-end cars with low
comprehensive
and collision deductibles would indicate that they are being used for something like Uber or Turo. As of now, Turo isn’t covered by any personal auto policy, it would need a commercial policy.If the vehicles are all older with
liability coverage
