Can Ford SYNC play music through Bluetooth?

I’m the first to admit that I’m not the most tech savvy guy out there, and I’m having trouble understanding my new car’s audio system. Can you play music through Bluetooth with Ford SYNC?

Yes, you can play music through Bluetooth with Ford SYNC. But first, you will need to pair your phone with your Ford.
To do that, first make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth settings are on. Then select the “Phone” option on your Ford’s infotainment screen, then “Add.” Your Ford will display a list of discoverable devices, including your phone. Once you select your phone from the list of devices, you’ll see a six-digit PIN displayed on the infotainment screen that matches the one on your phone. After you press “pair,” your phone will now be linked to your Ford via Bluetooth.
To play music through Bluetooth, press the “Aux” icon and queue up your favorite Spotify, Apple Music, or other streaming playlist. Or, if your Ford is equipped with voice control, you can press the voice control button and say “Bluetooth audio.”
And it’s that easy! Hopefully this helps you settle into your new car and help you practice safe driving by keeping both eyes on the road.
