If you are concerned about damage to your vehicle by a hurricane, add comprehensive coverage to your policy. If you already have comprehensive coverage, you should also look at your deductibles to ensure it’s affordable.
While most people opt for deductibles between $500 and $1,000, deductibles can range from $0 to $2,500. Having a deductible that you can afford will ensure that if you need to submit a claim to your insurance for hurricane damage, you’ll be able to afford your portion.
