I’m traveling to Utah to visit some friends and want to bring a little weed along to enjoy. I know Utah has some pretty strict laws. Can I travel with weed in my car in Utah?

, so unless you have a medical prescription, do not bring weed into the state. If you’re found with weed in your car, you could be fined and imprisoned.Possession of marijuana in Utah is a misdemeanor that carries possible penalties of: fines up to $1,000 and six months in jail.
Medical marijuana cardholders may possess up to 112 grams of weed within a one-month period. When transporting it, you must carry your state-issued medical marijuana card.
Keep in mind that you are not allowed to smoke weed—it must be taken in capsule or tablet form and you must consume it in private.
