Are there toll roads in Hawaii?
My husband and I are taking a month-long vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii, and we plan on renting a car to get around. But we’re unfamiliar with the roadways. Are there toll roads in Hawaii?

- Highway 200 (Saddle Road): Reaching an elevation of 6,632 feet, Saddle Road runs from the Kona Coast to the Hilo side, and you’ll get to see the volcanoes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa
- Highway 137: This drive is short and sweet but ends at Kalapana near the Kilauea Volcano
- Chain of Craters Road: This 20-mile scenic drive, located inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, starts from the slopes of the Kilauea Volcano, stretches along the lovely coastline of the Pacific Ocean, then ends at the Holei Sea Arch
