Are there any military discounts available when buying cars?

I’m active-duty military. When I go shopping for new cars, are there discounts that I can take advantage of?

“Nearly every major automaker offers some sort of military discount for car buyers. In most cases, you need to be an active military member, not a reserve. The discount amount and type vary depending on the manufacturer.
In general, American automakers have the most generous discounts and rebates, making a GM or a Ford a solid choice if you want to maximize your discount. But don’t ignore European or Asian makes either, as they sometimes change their discount amounts to entice new buyers. “
