Are the “finance anyone” dealerships legitimate or are they scammers?

I have bad credit but I need a new car. What are the pros and cons of financing through a place like this?

“More often than not, places like this are participating in what is called predatory lending.
The loans are designed with repossession costs worked in and typically never get paid off. They might be incredibly long loans and have high interest rates.
You would be better off finding a dealership or a private seller selling a used car for $5k or less and paying cash.”
