Are struts covered under the Hyundai warranty?

My Hyundai started leaning while I was turning the other day. I took it to my mechanic, and he said that the struts required a replacement. He also told me that I should see if they’re under warranty before I pay to replace them—does the Hyundai warranty cover struts?

Sorry to hear about your car trouble! The Hyundai warranty may cover struts, but it’s entirely dependent on the root of the damage—if the damage was the result of a manufacturer’s defect, the Hyundai warranty would cover the cost to replace the struts. However, if the struts were damaged by simply driving the vehicle, this would fall under normal wear and tear and Hyundai wouldn’t cover the replacement costs.
