Are speakers covered under the Ford warranty?

I have an almost brand new Ford F-150, and my speakers just blew out! (Okay, maybe I was blasting my music a little too loud…but that’s past the point.) What can I do about it? Will my warranty cover it?

Sorry to hear about your blown speakers! Let’s get you some answers.
Speakers are covered under the Ford warranty—but Ford only covers repairs or replacements if the speakers are found to be faulty or have manufacturer defects.
Speakers are covered under the 3-year/36,000-mile New Car Limited Warranty that comes with all new Ford vehicles. This is a bumper-to-bumper warranty that covers almost all components in your car, except for wear and tear items like tires and your battery.
You’ll need to take your F-150 in to determine whether the issue was indeed a manufacturer defect. If it was, your speakers should be covered!
