Skylines are illegal in the US due to their inadequate safety features. The Skyline does not meet the requirements listed in the 1988 Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance Act—therefore, it’s illegal to import or drive.
Since Nissan hasn’t made any efforts to make the Skyline compliant with US safety regulations, the car is not available in the States. If you want to drive a Skyline, you’ll need to visit Nissan’s home country, Japan.
