Are radar detectors legal in Georgia?

Am I allowed to buy a radar detector in Georgia? I’m really paranoid about getting pulled over because I have some points on my license and I’m nervous about it getting suspended.

Radar detectors are legal in Georgia, as are laser jammers. Both of these devices can help you avoid a
speeding ticket
, so they’re certainly one way to reduce the odds of getting charged with another traffic violation.
But speed limits are in place for a reason: If you’re close to having your license suspended, the best—and safest—course of action is to obey the speed limit.
