Are lug nuts covered under the Ford warranty?

Sorry to hear about your lug nut! Unfortunately, the Ford warranty does not cover lug nut replacement for cosmetic damages. It is unclear if the lug nut replacement is under the warranty at all.
Ford’s standard factory warranty provides new Ford with vehicles bumper-to-bumper coverage for three years or 36,000 miles. Below is an overview of what other components are covered:
- Bumper-to-bumper: 3 years/36,000 miles
- Powertrain (and roadside assistance): 5 years/60,000 miles
- Safety restraint system: 5 years/60,000 miles
- Corrosion (perforation only): 5 years/Unlimited miles
- Diesel engine: 5 years/100,000 miles
- Emissions: Up to 8 years/80,000 miles
There is also the option for an extended warranty at an additional cost which can be added anytime before the original bumper-to-bumper warranty expires. This is a good way to boost the resale value of a Ford vehicle as the remaining coverage will get transferred to the new owner.
