Are headlights covered under a Jeep warranty?

I’m thinking about buying a new Jeep, but I want to learn more about the warranties before I make such a large purchase. While I found some information, I wasn’t sure about headlight coverage. Does the Jeep warranty cover headlights?

Checking out the warranty first is a smart move! The answer is maybe—the Jeep three-year, 36,000-mile basic bumper-to-bumper warranty that comes on all new Jeep vehicles will cover headlights, but only if they fail due to poor workmanship or a manufacturer defect. Jeep will not cover headlights that are damaged due to normal wear and tear or an accident, nor will they cover the cost of a replacement bulb.
Thankfully, headlights aren’t all that expensive to replace. A new headlight runs about $120 to $170 with parts and labor, while a bulb can range from $15 to $60 depending on the type.
