Are distracted driving PSAs effective?

I’ve noticed an awful lot of PSAs directed at young drivers, especially about texting and driving. I think they’re a bit ridiculous. But are distracted driving PSAs actually effective?

Public service announcements, or PSAs, are designed to curb the risky behaviors of citizens in a certain country. With a major increase in
distracted driving
and the two million accidents associated with it, the government has tried to change behaviors with PSAs.
The good news is that distracted driving PSAs are effective in most cases, but especially with the 18 to 24 age group.
These individuals are more susceptible to media influence and are also more likely to practice distracted driving. While distracted driving accidents haven’t declined, they’re increasing at a lesser rate, which shows a bit of promise.
