Are brake calipers covered under Ford’s warranty?

I have a Ford that’s a couple of years old. It’s definitely time for some brake work. Are brake calipers covered under my warranty?

Brake calipers are not covered under Ford’s warranty.
Like most manufacturers, Ford’s basic vehicle warranties do not cover wear and tear items like brakes and their components. However, if you purchased a Ford Protect Extended Service Plan at the BaseCARE level or higher, your brake calipers will be covered.
Keeping your brakes well-maintained is important for safe driving and to help avoid accidents. So whether you have the extended service plan or not, be sure to get your brakes checked as soon as possible.
