Are batteries covered under Ford’s warranty?

I’ve been driving my new Ford for just a bit over a year, and I just noticed the battery light come on. I also noticed it took a long time for my car to start this morning. This is something that should be covered under warranty, right?

While this sounds like a super frustrating issue, rest assured that batteries are covered under Ford’s warranty.
The Ford New Vehicle Warranty covers your battery for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. So, as long as you haven’t managed to put 36,000 miles on your car in the last year, you should be able to contact your dealer to have this issue resolved.
