Will my home insurance policy be renewed automatically?
I'm not good at keeping track of dates for my bills and expenses. When my insurance is renewed, will it be automatic so I don't need to worry about it?
In all likelihood, yes. Most homeowners insurance policies are automatically renewed each year, similarly to auto insurance — unless the insurance company sends you a written notice ahead of time that they will not be renewing your coverage. A nonrenewal may occur because you have filed too many claims or your risk level has changed, for example.
