When does your driving record start? After you get a learner's permit or after you get a full driver's license?
I just got my learner's permit. Does my driving record start now or once I get a full driver's license?
Thanks for your question! From the second you’re granted a driver’s license, you have a driving record. If your record is free of accidents, moving violations, or points, it’s deemed to be clean.

Can you be protected by an auto insurance policy if you aren't listed on it?
My boyfriend got into a not-at-fault accident and his car is destroyed. The other driver's insurance policy will pay $15,000. This is less than what he owes on his loan and his insurance company won't allow him to submit a claim. They say it's because he isn't listed as a driver on the policy. Is this allowed?

"What is the process for getting an auto loan from a bank that I have a relationship with? "
I am looking to buy a new Toyota Camry, but after talking with the dealership, I feel like their financing rates are not that great. I have a decent relationship with my bank and have gotten personal loans from them before, but never an auto loan.

Can I file a diminished value claim with my insurance company for my brand-new car?
"I was hit by an uninsured driver and had to file the claim through my own insurance. My car is only five weeks old. Will my insurance cover the diminished value of the car now that it has been in an accident? "
