What are my options if I'm renting a car and don't want to buy insurance from the rental company?
Money's tight and I'd rather not pay for insurance from the rental car company if I don't have to. What options do I have?
Thanks for your question! Typically, your personal auto policy will extend to a rental car for you. Sometimes, depending on how old you are, you may need to purchase extra coverage. The rental company may require you to buy this extra coverage if you’re under 25.
