Is it possible to get a car loan without a credit check?
My credit history is lousy and I know it'll hurt my chances of getting a car loan. Can I avoid a credit check when applying for a loan?

Yes, there are many lenders that are willing to work with people based on factors other than a good credit score. However, when it comes to getting a car loan without a credit check, it is harder to qualify for one and you should be prepared to prove that you have the monthly income necessary to pay back the loan. Having a large down payment, using a cosigner, and/or pledging additional collateral will also help.

Can you be barred from getting renters insurance?
I always thought renters insurance was mandatory, but weirdly my grandpa's apartment manager has told him that he's not allowed to take out a renters policy. If he does, the manager said he'll face legal action. Is this allowed?
