Is coverage for jewelry a form of additional protection when it comes to home insurance?
I've heard different things about insuring jewelry. Some say it's included in regular home insurance and others say it's not. Is insurance for jewelry an extra or standard form of protection?

Jewelry is automatically covered on a standard homeowners policy, but each item will have a limit on it. You can purchase additional coverage if you wish. Any high-value items should be scheduled onto the policy with additional coverage by using an appraisal to make sure they are covered to their full value.
