How much can I expect to save on home insurance if I install a security system?
I've heard that I can save money on my insurance by getting a security system, but how big will the discount be?
On average, installing a security system in your home can save you five percent to 20%, depending on the type of system you have. Installing a system with centrally monitored fire and theft alarms will save you the most money.
