On average, installing a security system in your home can save you five percent to 20%, depending on the type of system you have. Installing a system with centrally monitored fire and theft alarms will save you the most money.

Do any companies offer standalone gap insurance?
I originally declined gap coverage due to the cost. I thought I could get it through my car insurance company, but they don't offer it. Are there any companies that offer gap insurance as a standalone option? I don't want to switch insurance companies.
