Does home insurance cover wildfires?
I know home insurance covers some natrual disasters and not others. What about wildfires?
Generally speaking, yes. Fire is a covered peril on most standard home insurance policies, and this includes wildfires. However, if you live in an area where wildfires are common, coverage may not be available, so be sure to check your policy or consult your insurance provider.
